One case of your product has several correct ways to leave a building, and which one applies depends on where it is going. Our retail fulfillment services begin by writing those differences down for your program, retailer by retailer, before anything ships.

Trifinity has been doing this work from Kenosha, Wisconsin, for 34 years, family owned the whole way. We choose to partner with a short list of brands selling into mass, drug, club, and direct-to-consumer channels.

One SKU, Several Correct Ways To Ship It

The case that satisfies a club buyer will be turned away at a drug chain’s dock. Your setup holds every version at once.

Where it goes What your setup says about it
Mass and drug distribution centers Case picks for retail distribution into Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS, each with its own label format, ASN window, and pallet grade on file
Club Quarter, half, and full pallet displays assembled from your bill of materials, packed out, and finished to club presentation rules
Marketplaces Poly bagging, unit and case barcodes generated for the pack, and cartons built to the receiving spec of the channel
Your own store Single unit picks taken from the same stock as your cases, shipped parcel
Rework Kitting, light assembly, over-labeling, container unloading, and rebuilding pallets that arrive damaged

Retail Fulfillment Solutions Start With A Profile Per Retailer

A retailer profile is the working document behind each account you sell into. It records the label format, the ASN window, the packing slip layout, the pallet grade, the booking portal, and the delivery window that particular retailer enforces. Your dedicated pickers work from the profile rather than from memory. Most programs need more profiles than the retailer count suggests, because one retailer can enforce one set of rules at its distribution centers and another for its dropship orders.

When A Routing Guide Changes, It Changes In One Place

Retailers revise their guides with little warning. On a profile-based setup, the revision gets made once, against that retailer, and every order routed there afterwards inherits it. Nobody has to remember to apply it, and nobody will find out it was missed by reading a deduction.

We Write The Spec, So We Answer For It

The profile is ours, so an order that goes out against it incorrectly is ours to put right. We fund the return and the replacement shipment. If an investigation shows a retailer’s fine was caused by our error, that fine is credited back to you. Our customers put the result more plainly than we do: we don’t miss.

The Retail Fulfillment Center Behind Your Account

Two buildings hold the work; Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie, totaling over 425,000 square feet. Both sit close enough to Chicago and Milwaukee for a truck to reach most Midwest retail distribution centers within the day. Stock and order records live in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, so the numbers you check are the numbers we work from. A third-party firm audits both buildings for GMP once a year, the FDA has them registered, and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture licenses, which is what allows product governed by lot numbers and expiry dating to sit here.

Retail Ecommerce Fulfillment On The Same Floor

Retail ecommerce fulfillment runs here too, drawing on one stock figure rather than a separate count. That way, you can be sure that the same unit won’t be promised to an online shopper and to a retail buyer at the same time. Our ecommerce fulfillment services take care of your brand’s direct-to-consumer side.

Let’s Build Your Account Together

Start with whichever retailer gives you the most trouble. Tell us who it is and how your cases are packed, and we will write the profile we would run that account to. We will then walk you through it line by line, with no obligation whatsoever to take it further at this point.

If the document holds up, the rest moves quickly. Pay us a visit in Kenosha to watch work like yours being handled. Systems and EDI will need about two weeks, and product will be moving roughly two months from that first conversation.

FAQ

What are retail fulfillment services?

They cover the whole path between an inbound pallet and a delivery the retailer will accept: storage, picking, labeling, pallet building, electronic order documents, appointment booking, and the outbound shipment itself. What separates them from plain warehousing is that the receiving end publishes its own rules, and holding to them is part of what you are buying.

What makes fulfillment retail programs different from general warehousing?

A warehouse contract ends at storing and moving your goods. A fulfillment retail program is graded on somebody else’s scorecard, so how you label, how you stack, when the documents land, and when the truck arrives all have to match a specification you did not write.

What does personalized fulfillment in retail change day to day?

It moves each retailer’s rules out of people’s heads and into your account setup. A picker on an evening shift applies the same label format your account manager signed off on, and a guide revision reaches every future order without anyone chasing it.

How is your retail fulfillment center set up for multiple retailers?

Each retailer you sell into gets its own profile, and a single brand can hold as many profiles as its program needs. The pick, the pack configuration, and the paperwork all change by destination while the inventory stays in one place.

Do your retail fulfillment solutions cover displays and packouts?

Yes. Corrugate arrives flat with a bill of materials. Our co-packing and display building team assembles it, packs it out with your product, adds the unit and case barcodes the display pack calls for, and ships it inside the promotion window.
